LIYA'S POV:

"Liya wake up". Sound of mom's voice cut through the haze of my sleep.I groaned,burrowing deeper into the cocoon of my blanket.

"Liya wake up" she said again patting my shoulder to wake me up.

"Ten minutes more". I mumbled into the pillow.

I heard the footsteps retreat and I sighed in relief.

I though that she would listen but ,

SPLASH

I gasped as the icy water hits my face.

"MOM, what was that for" I scream at her.

Mom stood there ,arms crossed, an empty bucket in her hand.

"Are you serious, I just slept at 5 in the morning"

I say ,as I saw a shadow moving just outside my room door.

My brother , Carlo standing there with a smug grin plastered on his face.

I knew it, its was Carlo's work , he wanted revenge for what I had done to him,last week.

A idea suddenly pops into my mind.I see him with my famous, dangerous smirk.

He understood as his grin fades away, because he knows how dangerous I can be.

My teary eyes, meeting mom's eyes, "I came back at 5 in the morning , I had to go with Dad to the warehouse because we had an emergency, I told Carlo, to inform you because you were not there"

I tell her. I saw mom's eyes widen, turning toward Carlo.

Next thing was mom caught Carlo and smacked his head three times.If mom was not there ,I would burst out laughing.

Mom turn towards me, she comes near and caressing my cheek softly," I am very sorry dear, I didnt know he would lie about this .Sorry love"

She tells , guilt visible in her eyes.

"Its ok mom"I tell her.

"Fresh up , I will make pancakes for you, baby".She tells me, making me happy because I LOVE PANCAKES.

As I head towards bathroom I hear a faint voice of mom and brother talking.

"Mom, I am sorry , please don't get angry, it was Liya's fault " Carlo saying to Mom.

A smile forming on my face.

Coming down the stairs, I saw , Dad and Carlo sitting on sofa, discussing something important, seeing by there face.
